Concept study. This is a visual exploration of a possible project, not a built or completed installation.

A ten-foot linear fire trough anchoring a travertine gathering court above the valley.

A single long flame replaces the usual circular pit, extending the geometry of the house into the landscape rather than interrupting it.

The trough would be fabricated in blackened steel with a hidden burner tray and wind management detailing for exposed sites.
